If you're familiar with their previous antics, the collaboration between Crocs and Balenciaga has produced unforgettable creations such as Kanye's signature knee-high boots, punk-inspired ultra-thick soles, and high-heeled styles.
And guess what? Kanye West, the big brother of Balenciaga, is indeed a fan of these unconventional designs!
This time around, Balenciaga has taken a slightly subtler approach, presenting a furry version of the classic Clog with the characteristic perforated design. At first glance, it might not even be immediately apparent that these are Crocs.
In contrast to their more extravagant past designs, the fuzzy half-sandal is not an entirely novel concept. Recently, Kanye's new favorite brand, Marni, featured mule slippers with horsehair material. It seems like Balenciaga is drawing inspiration from old flames for this latest creation.
However, it's evident that Demna, the creative mind behind Balenciaga, currently has a soft spot for half-sandals. After recently releasing a pair of five-toed hiking boots, there's now a collaboration with old buddy Crocs, resulting in a fuzzy half-sandal that's all about slip-on convenience.
The fuzzy version of Crocs has been revealed in two colorways: sandy beige and classic black. Both are relatively understated choices compared to the typical Crocs style but still retain an abstract touch when compared to conventional perforated sandals.
Specific release details for this collaboration have not been announced yet. Interested friends can stay tuned for updates, and we'll be sure to bring you the latest information as soon as it's available!
